hello MacArthur and welcome to the newest episode of Mac matters today we have stories on Martin Luther King jr. day the winter forecast and the 3D printer first step we have Martin Luther King jr. day  a few weeks ago is Martin Luther King jr. day King was born on January 15th at 9 1829 Martin Luther King Junior was an American Baptist Minister and an activist in the Civil Rights Movement he was also the Young person to ever receive the Nobel Peace Prize for fighting skin color inequality did you know that Martin is not his real name his real name from birth was Michael so he decided to change it  he was sadly murdered April 4th 1968 he was can a motel in Tennessee more than 200 feet away his memory will live on forever and ever not here is a few clips of I Have a Dream speech today and tomorrow I still have a dream  beautiful dream deeply rooted in there turn green  I have a dream  then one day  this nation will rise up look up the true meaning of its Creed  we hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created it I have a then one day on the Red Hills of Georgia sons of former slaves and the sons of promise play ball know what be able to sit down together at the table of Brotherhood I have a dream  the one thing leaving the state of Mississippi a state sweltering with the heater Injustice rolling with the heat of a pressure be transformed into an oasis of freedom and Justice I have a dream the word for little children one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin what Bible come to the back character I have a dream wow that's very inspirational movie sure was do you know what the winter weather forecast is going to be like no well we're about to find out let's get right to it hello and welcome to the news forecast for the winter in Fort Leavenworth we hope to get some snow days so we can get from school the average temperature for the winter is going to be 61 degrees the highest humidity for this winter 100% humidity will be 98 - 100% humidity and 90% precipitation that will freezing rain and Ice don't get Frozen song Let It Go  that was pretty funny yeah now I know what the weather is going to be like me too we have a story on the 3D printer let's get printing how to 3D printers work plastic and it's in the spool on the back of it and it melts it down through the pewter ant lays it out and put on platform where to start building up the object and it prints it out and tiny tiny layers building up and up and up until the jobs play with melted Plastics it also use the program that the printer is hooked up to on a computer then you put in the design of what you want to print out and that's what shoots out printer do you think 3D printing is good for kids of all ages I do think it's good for kids of all ages for that exposure it might be a little bit challenging to the de programming for some of the younger ones but to have that exposures a good thing okay thank you and why do we have 3D printers what's the district Initiative for to expose everybody students to this 3D printing which allows the students to program solve problems and create a product that will be a solution to they have as well as exploring how it works and screaming creating a project thank you what do you think about the 3D printer I think a 3D printer is pretty cool Hi-Tech it's really cool I've never seen one before but when are your thoughts of the 3D printer amazing and cool that was really cool I agree well that's all for this episode of Mac matters thanks for watching see you next time
