Welcome to MacArthur Power Lab!

Hello!  I am Kendra Norris, this year is my 21st year teaching.  I earned my bachelors degree in elementary / early childhood education from Emporia State University.  My first masters degree in elementary education curriculum from Baker University and my second masters from Emporia State University earning a degree as a reading specialist.

MacArthur Power Lab provides small group services to students in reading and math.  These services are in addition to support already received within the classroom setting. Kindergarten through 6th grade can utilize this service for reading and math support.

Students are generally referred to the Power Lab by the classroom teacher through the Instructional Impact Coach. These referrals occur after reviewing data collected during Tier 1 and Tier 2 instruction. Data may include teacher observation, current student grades, and scores from individualized assessments.
