Maggie Young

Hi, my name is Maggie Young and I am beyond excited to be part of the Mac-Pack. I believe every child can reach their full potential by finding a learning style that suits them, so I encourage many different styles of learning within the walls of my classroom. Building positive relationships with students and parents is a top priority of mine. We are a team, and our shared goal is providing the best education for your child. 

 

I graduated from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, grades 1-6. I completed short internships throughout my four years of college, including teaching Junior Achievement, taking part in Lead to Read and leading projects for all ages in STEAM Studio. I student taught in a 6th grade classroom both virtually and in-person. I gladly accepted a position at MacArthur teaching fifth-grade starting the 2021-2022 school year.
