Welcome

Hello, I am Ms. Pursel and I love teaching little people.  I have been a teacher for the past 21 years.  I have been a reading specialist for past 13 years and prior to that I was a first grade teacher.  This is my 13th year in the Fort Leavenworth School district.  Most recently I spent 7 years teaching reading in the Basehor School District.  I have two grown children, 1 grandson, 2 nieces, two golden doodles and recently lost my husband of 31 years.  I have a masters degree in reading and a masters degree in educational technology. I am so glad your child is in my classroom this year. We are going to have so much fun learning and growing together.
