A little about Mrs. Gillogly
Hello Families,
I retired from the Army in 2016 and went back to school to become a teacher. I taught in Fairbanks, Alaska from August 2018 until December 2022. I have been fortunate to teach in most of the K-5 grades over the past five years and love them all! I was the full-time building substitute at Eisenhower Elementary from January to May 2023. This is my second year teaching 4th grade at MacArthur.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and International Studies from Norwich University, a Master of Arts degree in Education/Curriculum & Instruction from University of Phoenix, and a Post-Baccalaureate Teaching Certificate from University of Alaska Fairbanks.
My husband, Ryan, is also retired from the Army and now continues to serve in a different capacity here at Fort Leavenworth. We have two active daughters: Natalie, a Junior at Leavenworth High School, and Aoife, a 6th grader at Patton Junior High School. We also have two crazy dogs who keep life interesting.
I love being a teacher and helping students learn and grow. I am exceptionally grateful to continue to serve military families here at Fort Leavenworth. I look forward to learning with and teaching your children this year.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. I will do my best to reply to any emails or messages within 24 hours.
