About Me

Hi There!  My name is Amanda Hurley and I'm the new school secretary at MacArthur Elementary.  I've been married for 14 years to my husband Edward who is my best friend and partner-in-crime. I'm a mother to one wonderful son, Levi, who is my feisty but loving little boy!  He will be joining me at MacArthur this year in pre-k and is excited as this is his first year of school.  I'm a dog mom to my border collie mix Mila and cat mom to my two ornery kitties Binx and Winifred. 

 

In my free time, I love to read!  I'm all about spending my days on my screened porch, reading a good book and enjoying the peace.  I also love to spend time with my family and enjoy time by the water (any water) as well.  I am very active in my church and serve on our worship team, foster care community team and VBS leader team.

 

This is my first job in almost 9 years and I'm very excited to get back out and do what I can to help out the MacArthur family!
