Sarah Williams

Welcome to our Kindergarten space!
My name is Sarah Williams and I will be spending the year with your child.  I am so excited for the year ahead and thank you for giving me the opportunity to share this time with you and your child.
This is my 9th year teaching kindergarten at MacArthur Elementary. I graduated form the University of St. Mary with a bachelors in Science. I am an Army brat from a long line of military service members and have lived in the Lansing area for the past 20ish years when both of my parents retired. My siblings and I attended a variety of schools here on Fort Leavenworth at some point in our education and it has been a great opportunity to teach here as well.  
I am very blessed to be the mother of three daughters who are all in high school and college.  Having my three girls has been my greatest learning curve and has taught me the importance of education, behavior, discipline, patience and accountability. 
My classroom is run on children, learning, making mistakes, having fun, being kind, following directions and making good choices. I have very high expectations for all of my students and expect each of them to perform to the very best of their abilities and grow throughout the year.
